(JMY30)
Lost recording from 1995 featuring members of BROKEN HEARTS ARE BLUE, ORDINATION OF AARON, VINE, THE M's and TV POW

drums, guitar and bass recorded live to 2" tape
vocal, violin overdubbed
recorded and mixed - May 1995
Western Sound Studio - Kalamazoo Michigan

from Ryan Gage:
Ordination of Aaron, Broken Hearts Are Blue and Vine members making a memory.

“This was more of a one-off project than a band, though we did play a single gig at The Crow's Nest circa 1995(?). Were you there? Tony Miranda was digging Sea and Cake pretty hard, while Steve Versaw was diving deep into a lot of jazz from what I can recall. Sort of that moment when indie rock dudes discover Sun Ra and begin to puff the magic dragon (Steve can set my historical memory straight if I've gone off message). My recollections are that we were pretty loose and open to grooving to whatever came out of our practices. The singer just sounds like an in-heat cat who had consumed too many 40's of Mickey's. The violinist was a friend of Tony's and was part of WMU's music program. She's probably living a quiet life in the suburbs now as an insurance salesman or life coach. Thanks Carter Todd, aka Cecil for archiving some of Kalamazoo's underground music history.”
